Scoot aboot

Enjoyed building the scooter. Reasonable quality but not overly impressed. Takes quite a bit of adjusting to line brakes and wheels up. Some parts look and feel like they are lacking in quality. Rides okay but can see further adjustments being required. Still early doors but left feeling a bit deflated.

Osprey action scooter

This is the 2nd scooter owned, really poor quality materials and fittings. However ideal if you want a cheap scooter that you are prepared to replace. First one lasted 12 months with use in the back garden, tyres worn out, brake components disintegrated, head stock needed fileing to get it to hold tightly, wheels needed truing out of the box. I guess it's a choice 1 decent scooter that would cost £500-600 but last 10 years or 10 of these that last about 12 months each.

Ok after issues resolved

Not the best quality tbh. And a pain to build it. Rear brake is extremely poorly situated where i had to physically bend the metal footplate out of the way in order for the brake to be able to function. The wheel bearings on both wheels came loose and required tightening, the handlebars even when fully tightened in the frame have slight play due to a poor design with the clamp so the it rattles/knocks. Footstand was basically worthless and didnt function at all in the pre determined hole position as it should so removed it. Lastly the rear frame of the scooter was soo poorly out of tolerance could barely get the wheels situtaed with another thread poteuding either side to actually put the nuts on. Once all the issues were resolved its ok but i do not rate this product at all from a design point and build quality.

Get what you pay for

Its good fun but it is cheap brakes r shocking the kick stand will catch on everything the handle bars rattle in the fork stem and every time i use it the wheel bearings come loos this will be the 4 time in 4 days but having said that good bit of fun just don't expect to much

Very poor assembly experience.

This was purchased earlier this month as a Christmas gift. Today is the day it was opened to build it in preparation for tomorrow and gifting my son with. Disappointingly, the large wheel rim has been scored along the edge at some stage prior to packing and the ends of the frame had not been sufficiently protected from damage in transit and the ends show signs of scuffing. The box itself shows where the frame pushed through and was left exposed. Moving on to the assembly and instructions - it says that the brakes come already set up. They’re not. The brake pads were hard locked 45 degrees off wheel rim angle after unpacking and the brake cables were not connected. There are no instructions on how to connect the cables to the brake levers. I was left to work through it using other research sources. This is a fundamental part of the safety of the scooter and I am very unhappy about this.

BMX scooter

Brought for husband who's 60! he's a keen enduro and MTB rider.He's not so good at the ups now,but blasting down is still fun.The scooter is brill for this light to carry to the top and very capable on the downs,jumps and all.He's very pleased at the price and with some small off-road updates it perfect.

Great value scooter - I love it

I turned 60 recently and after having a bad smash on my bike, my husband was anxious for me to get a safer form of transport, so I decided on a scooter. It's taken a little getting used to but I absolutely love it. It's very strenuous so no coasting along like you can on a bike but I'm excited about how fit I'm going to get! It's a great looking scooter, pretty sturdy. I've had several compliments from youngsters too Lol! I've kind of been expecting a little bit of ridicule (a 60 year old woman on a BMX scooter) but so far only good comments :)

Simply fantastic

Great scooter. Feels well made, husband is quite good with bikes/tools/diy and it did take him a little while to put together so I’d recommend setting some time aside or getting someone ‘in the know’ to do it for you. The little kick stand is a welcome addition. It’s been used by my (tall) 8 year old as well as myself and it’s a lot of fun!
Box arrived in a sorry state with a small component missing. However, Osprey were fantastic at getting the missing part out to me the very next day which I was very grateful for. I spoke to different customer service assistants (different departments) and each one of them were so lovely and efficient, particularly Sammie. Thankyou so much.

Poor quality. Don’t think it will last much use

Not great quality. Rear bracket was bent and paint chipped, must have been done before packaging as box wasn’t damaged. Also brakes are supposedly pre setup but they aren’t so a lot of fiddling about setting up.

The scooter itself looks great but the instructions completely let it down. As someone who has never connected brakes before i would have appreciated more detailed instructions on how to do this.

Prompt delivery, but tricky to assemble. Delivered with under inflated front and flat rear tyre.
Rear tyre will not retain pressure after several attempts to by knowledgeable experience person.
Not good enough for a �new' product. Was purchased as a birthday present for an intelligent 9 year old who is somewhat disappointed.

It's pretty good, if you are careful. Build quality is fine. The ride is smooth and silent. Just take care with sharp corners when your (adult) weight is high above ground.

Brakes were broken and took ages to get them working. front wheel is slightly buckled... Its very heavy for an 8 yr old so will be in storage a few years
