Very odd shape. The arms are very big, disproportionately to the rest. Not suitable for slim children.

My autistic daughter loves to go into the sea every day to meet her sensory needs. Now, thanks to this wetsuit she can, even in the winter for an hour or more. The sizes listed are perfect abd we'll get her a larger when she outgrows it. Excellent purchase

Looks like a great wetsuit. The fit was pretty good, my daughter was at the smaller end of the size scale so it did fit but is a little loose around the arms but she’s got time to grow into it.
Great quality and cute design. Not tested in water yet but should be warm enough.

Sizing not accurate/returns process so slow

Order a larger size, we measured our children and the sizing is not accurate.
The returns process is painful and really slow. Ordered on 18 Dec still no refund. trying to get an answer from customer service is challenging too!

Unfortunately despite measuring and following the size chart this wetsuit came up small. Felt thick though and would have probably been perfect had it fit. Disappointed to have to pay return postage given the size chart doesn’t correspond to the actual measurements of the suit.

Excellent wetsuit for cold kids

Fits my nearly 6 year old well, with a bit of room to grow. He wore it in the sea for hours and didn’t get cold. Its so thick and effective that the first time he wore it out jumping waves, his rash vest stayed dry underneath. A great wetsuit for little ones that get cold quickly.

Not a great experience for me, My fault though

Remember to test purchased items before the 30 day return window. Bought a wetsuit for my kid. I forgot try it for size. Turns out it was too small and the 30 days return policy had passed so can't return it.

Very well made swimsuit

My 3 year old gets very cold swimming in the pool so I brought this hoping it would make him less cold. It is excellently made and very good quality. It’s not cheap and is on the pricey side but it is keeping my son that little bit warmer in the water.

Kids Osprey Wetsuit

This is our second kids Osprey wetsuit, first one lasted a good few years (stretched well!). Excellent quality and value for money. Highly recommend.

Decent 5mm wetsuit but slight issue with zip

Overall the wetsuit is as described so at 5mm warmer than our sons last wetsuit. The only issue we have with the wetsuit is that the zip is not that secure and does start to open from the top which is not great.

Good, but a bit disappointing

At first sight, this looked like a good product, particularly at a discounted price. The 5mm neoprene is good (5mm for the main parts of the /4mm for the other parts; this is a standard approach) and protects well, particularly in cold waters (we've tested in in 14 to 17 degree C -- UK; late spring to early autumn); the design fits well; I like the padded knees; movement is good -- the wetsuit is flexible. However, several (glued) seams that are not stitched have split over 0.5 cm to about 4 cm in several areas, only after one use, which was disappointing (note: the splits did not go through the neoprene, at this stage, and the seams are holding up ... but, for how long before they open?). Clearly, had the seams been stitched or taped, this problem would have not occurred or not occurred as much. The zip, when closed, opens too easily (the catch does not grab enough), particularly under stress when surfing or body-surfing. Finally, the sizes of the wetsuits in this range appear to size smaller than what one can conclude from using Osprey's measurement charts. For children, I advise to buy the next size up, so that they can grow into the wetsuit and use them longer. In conclusion: with more taped seams and a few stiches, this would be a much much much better product.

Great wetsuit for cool waters

Great wetsuit. Bought for 12 year old son for swimming and kayaking in Scotland in summer. Good thickness and kept him warm even on cool days in the sea.
