A huge congratulations to everyone at the 2016 WSL awards, including Keala Kennelly, the eventual winner of the Pure Scot Barrel Award, which our team rider Tom Butler was also nominated for.

It was a double triumph for KK as she became the first woman ever to win a Big Wave Award in an open category, and her mutant, heavy Teahupoo barrel is definitely impressive. We're stoked for all the guys who were nominated, and who won. There were so many great waves and wipeouts caught on camera. Massive congratulations to everyone!

We're so pleased for Tom to be part of this big evening in the Big Wave Surfing community. With 80+ entries, and other nominees including Big Wave World Champion Greg Long , it was a tough challenge to be in the top five nominated, and we're so stoked for him!
